HIP welcomes two new team members
HIP has recently appointed Michael Glasson as State Development Manager in Victoria and Jenny Leung as Business Development Manager in Queensland.
Michael Glasson
Michael has had a successful and extensive career in retail, having been involved in business development and franchising in the pharmacy, gaming and oil industries both in Australia and overseas. More recently, he has been involved in retail procurement and network development for branded groups. Michael's experience also includes several important disciplines within the HIP model, notably retail development, acquisition, network development and expansion, commercial negotiations, business planning, marketing, IT and HR issues. Michael has an MBA from RMIT University, Melbourne, Graduate Diploma of Business Administration from Swinburne University, and a Diploma of Business and Diploma of Arts. He joins current State Development Managers Peter Allen in NSW and David Bateson in Queensland.
Jenny Leung
Jenny will be familiar to many people as the owner of HIP Cleveland on Brisbane's Bayside. Jenny has joined the HIP team as Business Development Manager (Queensland) to provide support to HIP pharmacies in Queensland, with a specific focus on the rollout of the Health Solutions business, including the Health-e Weight product program.
Jenny has many years experience in pharmacy and pharmacy ownership and has a keen interest and involvement in the industry, having been an active member of many pharmacy organisations, including roles as Branch Committee Member of the Pharmacy Guild in Queensland and Vice Chairperson of the National Women & Young Pharmacists Committee.
Having very successfully implemented the HIP systems at two HIP pharmacies as the franchisee, Jenny is a natural fit for this new role.
