HIP holds workshop on financial and retail management for members
Last week fifteen of the HIP team attended an HIP customised FMRC Financial and Retail Management Workshop. The training is designed to improve the understanding of financial statements and analyse store results using financial ratios and comparison to industry survey standards to highlight attention/problem areas. The workshop also demonstrated strategies that can be used to improve pricing, profit performance, merchandising, stock control and security.
The training was very well regarded by all those who attended and a high level of confidence was evident in being able to implement new strategies and troubleshoot problem areas.
