New stores in QLD and NSW
HIP Melbourne Central newly fitted out in HIP livery
Over the past few months HIP has opened two new stores - one in the growing suburb of Kallangur, about 20kms north of Brisbane and one in Mosman in Sydney. HIP Kallangur has been opened by Doug Roberts and Mario Barbagallo - who are partners in HIP Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast - in partnership with Jordan Dullahide, who was previously pharmacist manager at Mooloolaba. Jordan will be managing the Kallangur pharmacy.
Jordan said “It’s great to have an opportunity to be an owner-manager of a new pharmacy, and even better that it is a member of a vibrant group like HIP. Kallangur is a growing community and I look forward to introducing local residents to HIP’s high level of pharmacy care with programs like Chemconsult and Health-e-Weight.”
The new HIP Mosman is on Military Road, on the way down to Taronga Zoo. Owner Suzanne Felfleh explains why she decided to join HIP:
“Over the years I have owned pharmacies in country Victoria and New South Wales that have been in other groups. This time I was looking for a different approach and the previous owner of this pharmacy suggested I have a look at the HIP model. I was impressed by the focus on the professional side of the business and particularly by the Chemconsult program, which will help me establish my pharmacy as a healthcare destination in Mosman.”
HIP Mosman is in the middle of a refurbishment at the moment and will be in full HIP livery soon.
