Movember at HIP
Would you trust these men? (statistically speaking the answer is a resounding ‘yes’ as they’re all pharmacists, who are, according to Australia’s 100 most trusted professions list, the fifth most trusted - behind ambulance officers, firefighters, pilots and nurses but ahead of everyone else - including doctors)
Last November Jordan, Mario and Doug from HIP Mooloolaba (now renamed ‘Mo-loolaba’) entered into the spirit of Movember and grew their facial hair to raise money for, and awareness of, men’s health issues including prostate and testicular cancer and depression.
This year ringleader Jordan (prisoner on the left above) has thrown down the challenge to all other HIP pharmacies to join the campaign and raise money for this worthy cause. Although the Mo-loolaba gang have a few days on everyone else they are happy to take on all comers for the title of ‘HIP Mo of the year 2008’. And if they win again they’ll put up the award next to their 2008 HIP Pharmacy of the Year award!
