HIP at APP

HIP was again at APP a few weeks ago, where the focus was on Chemconsult® and letting attendees at the conference know about the program and the success it has had recently in identifying medication errors and conflicts in HIP pharmacies up and down the country (see below).
Jenny Leung, HIP’s Chemconsult® Project Manager said
“We’ve had an incredible amount of interest expressed in Chemconsult® by people at APP this year - it’s interesting given that our stand was right next to the Guild’s Mirixa stand. There’s clearly a lot of interest in this area of pharmacy right now - as there should be.”
What is Chemconsult®?
For the patient - Chemconsult® is a free in-store consultation performed online by the pharmacist that safeguards a patient’s health by managing their medications and identifying possible problems.
For the pharmacy owner - the ‘Holy Grail’ of being paid for the valuable service we provide.
